  1. Thank you for the comment! It is quite old indeed! It is on the hillsides of Tourlos, where the New Port is. From this little church you have a view to the new port, which is right below it.

  2. The tiniest & one of the loveliest little churches, a real "θεόκτιστον'. But. These wonderful photos show one side of the coin. If you went there you would see the blocked view & feel suffocated by the big new house dwarfing the precious ancient church. Who gave the license for the monstrosity & what monster decided to destroy this ancient monument?
The church is still there but the good taste that built it is no more.

  3. @Δάφνη: Dear Dapnhe i couldn't agree more with your above comment, and i am happy to see that there people who acknowledge this 'thing' as it is; a monstrosity.

I believe i understand the building you are referring to. Please check this post when you can: http://mykonensis.blogspot.com/2011/03/blog-post_04.html

@Feather on a wire: Unfortunately, Dapnhe is right; anyone blessed enough to see this cave-chapel, will soon be filled with dismay and his heart will hurt when he sets his look upon the monstrous creation at the edge of the hill just opposite the little chapel!
